What happens next? |
What happens when you receive assistance When a student is selected for assistance, the nearest Trustee of the Foundation delivers the check, made out to the college, to the student. This is so the student will receive proper credit for the payment. When a Trustee has a meeting with the student, a parent or teacher is asked to attend if possible. Two times each year, that Trustee will contact the student to see if any problems have arisen that the Foundation can assist the student with. The student is also given the Trustee's telephone number so that contact can be made in case of an emergency. Once a student has received assistance, that student has priority when requesting additional assistance.
